TOP 50 HORSEBACK RIDING INSTRUCTORS IN U.S.

The American Riding Instructors Association will present its formal award in November.

The American Riding Instructors Association has recognized Terry Peiper as one of the top fifty riding instructors in the United States. The award promotes excellence in the teaching of riding and training of students and will be presented to the winners in Naples, Florida, this November. The winners were selected by an independent panel of industry leaders.

Peiper has over 40 years’ experience riding and over 25 years’ experience training horses and providing private instruction to students. Specializing in “helping horses with their people,” Peiper’s instruction emphasizes horse psychology and horsemanship skills. Her students ride English and western, some for show but most for pleasure.

“My mission is to help people communicate and understand what truly makes a horse happy so that they can have that relationship and partnership they want with their horses,” said Peiper. “I love riding, training and showing horses. For me, showing is how I measure how successful I am with my training. But the real success is when one of my students rides, trains and shows his own horse. That is the ultimate success for me: helping riders reach their goals with their own horses.”
